Beneficiaries

Beneficiaries of the Centre are children affected by Cerebral Palsy
Students at the centre participate in many competitions conducted by organizations in Pune that are also working for MR, CP and Disabled children. The competitions are in the categories of Sports, Drawing, Crafts, Dance and a variety of talents for both group and individual participants.

Many of our students have won prizes for Carrom, 25 meters Walk, Swimming, Fancy Dress, Preparing ornaments, etc.

They fare very well every year in the contest for making Greeting Cards and Posters organized by Umed Pariwar.

Various contests are organized on account of International Day of Disabled Persons on December 3 every year.

Marked progress is seen in the children after the Phsiotherapy Treatment. Few examples:

1) Shrirang: He is a nonverbal child and parents did not let him go to school till the age of 7. He was not having any knowledge of surroundings. He is coming to our school for the past 3 years. Now he is learnt about surroundings and can communicate with sign language and convey all his needs. He is very hyperactive but now his concentration level has increased and he is able to sit at one place and perform all the activities. He is also able to manage tasks necessary for daily living with minimal help.

2) Chinmay: He was not able to sit without support. Recently has been able to sit independently.
